The Delaware Economic Development Office, or DEDO, is now going to have to find a new Director. Governor John Carney announced Tuesday that current Director, Bernice Whaley, is stepping down to become the Director of Development at St. Andrew’s School in Middletown. Whaley has been the DEDO Director since June, 2015, and has been with DEDO since 2009. Deputy Director Cerron Cade will be the acting director until a permanent one is found.
