Delaware State Police Seeking Selbyville Rape Suspect

Delaware State Police are currently investigating a sexual assault incident and trying to locate the suspect.

The incident occurred Friday at around 10 p.m. after Troopers responded to a local hospital, making contact with a 17-year-old female victim who reported she had been sexually assault. The investigation revealed the victim was at a residence in Selbyville when she had been sexually assaulted, strangled, physically assaulted and held against her will by the suspect, who has been identified as 23-year-old Xavier Aiken of Milton.

Troopers have been unable to locate Aiken, who has active warrants out of Troop 4 on first degree rape, second degree rape, first degree kidnapping, second degree assault and strangulation.
