Delaware suspends dentist, nurse from practicing medicine

A Delaware nurse and dentist have been ordered not to practice medicine in the state for at least sixty days.  The suspensions were issued by the Delaware Secretary of State this past Friday; Dr. I-Yin “Grace” Liu is accused of allowing untrained and unlicensed staff in her dental practice to put fillings in children’s teeth and administer nitrous oxide to kids.  Liu says she’s done nothing wrong and plans to fight the charges.  The nurse, Angela Gonzalez-Andino, is accused of an improper relationship with a substance abuse disorder patient she cares for.  She’s also accused of altering his medication dosage without a doctor’s order.
