Delmar Fire Causes Severe Damage To House


Delmar fire crews were called to a house fire Monday night after an extension cord overloaded in one of the bedrooms. The blaze started just after 7:30 p.m. on Highland Avenue. It took 30 Delmar firefighters an hour and a half to control. No injuries were reported, but $130,000 in damages occurred. The fire is being ruled accidental.
