Delmar Man Wanted by Troopers for Laurel Home Burglary

Delaware State Police are working to locate 27-year-old Josh Shelton of Delmar, Delaware who is wanted in connection with a burglary.

Troopers say the incident occurred on March 29 around 2:46 p.m. at a residence in the 34000 block of Hudson Road. Troopers were dispatched for a reported alarm. Upon arrival they witnessed the residence had been burglarized and the rear door was damaged. The suspect fled without obtaining any items.

Through the course of an investigation, Troopers identified the suspect as Shelton. He is currently wanted out of DSP Troop 5 on numerous active warrants. Among them are Second Degree Burglary of a Dwelling, Possession of Burglar Tools, Attempt to Commit Theft and Criminal Mischief.
