After the storm that brought damaging winds and rain to southern Delaware and heavy snow to the norther part of the state, power is starting to come back on for many Delmarva Power customers. The company announced yesterday that more than 68,000 customers who lost power yesterday have gotten it back. Delmarva Power was able to do this so quickly thanks to help from other electric companies, such as ComEd in Chicago, PECO in Philadelphia and Pepco in DC. Delmarva crews are continuing to work today to restore the remainder of the power throughout Delaware. To check power outages, or to report them, go to www.delmarva.com.
