UPDATED: DOC Offender Back in Custody

UPDATED – 10:25pm – Corrections officials say an offender who failed to return from an authorized work pass last Thursday has been arrested by the SCCC Escape Recovery Team.  DOC officials say 26 year old Mightys Gibbs was found Friday and is now being held at SCI on an escape after conviction warrant in default of a $10,000 cash bail.

Corrections officials are looking for an inmate who has failed to return to the Sussex Community Corrections Center from an approved work pass. Officials are looking for 26 year old Mightys Gibbs of the Blades area – he is black, 6-feet tall and 190 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. Gibbs also has multiple tattoos.
