A Dover woman is dead after a crash Saturday night on White Oak Road just east of Route 1.  Dover Police have learned that 32 year old Nicole Hauf was traveling at a high rate of speed and involved in an argument on the phone when her Explorer went off the roadway in a curve and into a ditch.  Police say the vehicle overturned at least three times – ending up on its roof.  Hauf was suffered a severe head injury and died from her injuries Sunday morning.  A 13 year old passenger was properly restrained and able to free herself – and taken to AI DuPont Children’s Hospital with a serious chest injury.  She is in stable condition.  Police believe alcohol and speed are factors in the crash.
