UPDATED: DSP Investigating Fatal Shooting in Laurel

UPDATED – 7/13/18 – Delaware State Police identified the victim as 18-year-old Trevor McClements of Seaford – he died Friday from his injuries.

The investigation into a shooting Monday at the Carvel Gardens Apartments in Laurel is continuing by Delaware State Police. Police were called just before midnight and found an 18 year old man on the ground with a gunshot wound to the head. He is in critical condition at an area hospital. A 22 year old man, who left the scene was identified at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital with cuts to his hand and face. Police say a fight took place between multiple people when the 18 year old was shot by an unknown suspect.
