UPDATED: DSP Arrest Millsboro Area Man after Domestic Assault

UPDATED – 3/5/19 – Delaware State Police have arrested an Oak Orchard area man wanted after a domestic assault on February 26th. Police say 47 year old Justin Shifflett of Millsboro turned himself in Tuesday. He is charged with strangulation, 3rd degree assault and other offenses after he got into an argument with his wife which turned violent. Shifflett is being held at SCI in default of a cash only bond.

Delaware State Police are looking for a Millsboro man in connection with a domestic assault and strangulation.  Police were called to Oak Orchard Road last week for a domestic that turned physical when a woman was assaulted by 47 year old Justin Shifflett when he grabbed her throat and struck her in the face.  Shifflett took his wife’s vehicle and left the residence – and hasn’t been seen since.  Police have warrants for his arrest.  The 48 year old victim refused treatment for non-life threatening injuries.  If you know where Shifflett is – contact Crime Stoppers at 800-TIP-3333.
