October 21, 2018
An Easton man has been charged after he was involved in a crash Saturday evening on Coastal Highway north of Old Landing Road. Delaware State Police say three vehicles were involved in a chain reaction crash after the driver of a Volvo failed to slow for vehicles stopped in traffic. When police contacted the driver, 56 year old Francis McNulty of Easton, they smelled alcohol and a DUI investigation began. A computer check showed McNulty had three previous DUI arrests. He’s charged with a 4th offense DUI and vehicular assault. A 21 year old passenger in the middle vehicle in the crash was treated for minor injuries.
