EXCLUSIVE: Governor John Carney talks turkey

WGMD caught up with Governor John Carney for an exclusive interview to ask him the hard hitting questions about Thanksgiving. The Governor says he’ll be spending the day with family at Woodburn; he says his favorite tradition was when his sons were growing up, and the neighborhood kids and families would play soccer and football games in the streets of Wilmington. Although they don’t still play Carney says he still looks forward to dinner with the whole family each year at Thanksgiving, especially the mashed potatoes and gravy. When asked what he was thankful for, Governor Carney said “Family and Friends, and the privilege to serve as Governor.”
