FASFA Reminds You That You Can Still Fill Out Forms While Site Is Down

While the IRS data retrieval tool may be down online, that doesn’t mean you and your soon-to-be college student can’t complete their FASFA application. That retrieval tool on fasfa.gov and StudentLoans.gov is expected to be down for another few weeks, at least. It helps you automatically put your information in for FASFA, but you will still be able to put in your information manually. If you’re applying for scholarship money, you’ll need to fill out your FASFA form, regardless of the status of the tool, by April 15 in Delaware. If you need a copy of your tax returns for this form, you can still find them at www.irs.gov/transcript.
