UPDATED: Fatal Fire on Fisher Road

UPDATED 12pm – The State Fire Marshal and Delaware State Police are investigating a fire that took the life of one person on Fisher Road south of Milton.  The call came in just after 4:45 this morning and crews from Lewes, Milton and Rehoboth found fire showing from the two-story home when they arrived.  Officials say no suspicious activity is indicated in their preliminary investigation.  No firefighters were injured in the blaze.


UPDATED – 8:30am – Fire crews have cleared the scene.  The State Fire Marshal remains on the scene investigating the cause and origin of the fire


UPDATED 6:15am: Fire crews were called to a home on Fisher Road a 4:45 this morning for a fire in a 2-story home. Crews from Milton, Lewes and Rehoboth found fire coming from all sides of th home. Officials also found one person inside the home deceased. The State Fire Marshal is also on the scene. Expect detours around the fire scene.

Fire crews from multiple companies have responded to a fatal fire on the 28000 block of Fisher Road in the greater Milton area. One person has been found dead inside the 2 story home.
