Today is the final day for people to provide input and comment on a controversial regulation brought forth by Delaware’s Department of Education. Regulation 225, which would let students to self-identify gender and race, and in some cases, allow for schools to withhold that information from parents. Indian River School Board Member Jim Fritz tells WGMD his district has already sent a letter to the Secretary fo Education and Governor John Carney voicing opposition to the new regulation. .
