Fire Seriously Damages Berlin Home

A Wednesday evening fire seriously damaged a home in Berlin. Authorities say the blaze took place around 10:30 p.m. at a home in the 12000 block of Snug Harbor.
No one was home at the time of the fire and it is unclear what sparked the blaze. Ocean City and Ocean Pines fire crews assisted Berlin firefighters, extinguishing the fire in 30 minutes. One firefighter suffered a minor injury.
The case of the fire remains under investigation, and the price of damages is currently unknown.
