UPDATED: Full-scale Sports Betting Comes to Delaware June 5

Delaware will launch a full-scale sports gaming operation at the state’s three casinos on Tuesday. Governor John Carney says that at 1:30 on June 5, SportsPick Gaming will go live at Delaware Park, Dover Downs Hotel & Casino and Harrington Raceway & Casino. It will offer single-game and championship wagering on pro baseball, football, hockey, basketball, soccer, golf and auto racing. The Department of Finance and Attorney General’s Office have determined there are no legal obstacles to moving forward with full-scale sports betting following the US Supreme Court decision on May 14, which overturned the Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act.
