Funding Awarded to Delaware Tech in Georgetown for Automotive Training Center

US Senator Tom Carper and Delaware Tech President, Dr. Mark Brainard along with Sussex County’s Economic Development Director are announcing a $1.97-million grant awarded to Del Tech and Community College in Georgetown to build a new automotive training center. The 13,500 square foot center will include 2 classrooms, a tool room, two training garages and more. This project will protect about 90 jobs and generate $1.5-million for the state’s economy.
