Georgetown Woman Sentenced to 7 Years for Robbery

A guilty plea from 51 year old Michelle Spicer of Georgetown in connection to 2 counts of 2nd degree robbery charged as hate crimes and one count each of conspiracy, theft and criminal impersonation of a law enforcement officer. Officials say she approached victims in parking lots and streets in the Georgetown area portraying herself as an immigration officer. Using what turned out to be a cap gun, she robbed or tried to rob her victims of cash and personal possessions. Spicer targeted Hispanic victims so he robberies were charged as hate crimes. She has been sentenced to 7 years in prison and to pay restitution over $8400.
