Come join speaker Tony Pratt at the Lewes public Library next week to learn all about the Storm of ’62. 55 years later, Pratt will talk about Ash Wednesday, 1962, when the storm reached level 5 and injured over 1,000 people and killed 40. Waves were more than 40 feet high in Rehoboth and flooding caused millions of dollars in property damage. Pratt will be at the Lewes Library next Friday, March 17, at 7:30 p.m. to speak and take your questions. The event is free and all are welcome.
