Harrington Man Dies after Crash Friday Night

A crash Friday night on Fox Hunters Road near the intersection of Hemping Road west of Harrington has left one man dead. Delaware State Police say just after 7pm a pickup truck driven by 58 year old Jerome Hall of Harrington went off the roadway in a sharp curve, hit a ditch and utility pole. The truck rolled over onto its side and live wires fell from the broken pole. Hall was trapped in the truck until Delaware Electric Cooperative could make the scene safe. After Hall was removed from the truck, he was pronounced dead at the scene. Police ask anyone with information on this crash to contact Crime Stoppers – 800-TIP-3333.
