Houston Man Charged with Extortion

Milford Police were called for an extortion investigation after a note was left on the victim’s vehicle demanding an undisclosed amount of money or the subject would kill the victim. Investigation led police to 26 year old Nikolaih Rivera of Houston who was arrested Wednesday and charged with extortion, theft under $1500 and criminal mischief. He is being held in default of secured bail and has been ordered to have no contact with the victim.
