  HURRICANE MATTHEW IMPACTING NORTH CAROLINA ROADWAYS

A Hurricane Warning is in effect for the North Carolina Coastal Region. The storm is currently producing high winds and heavy rainfall to the area. Motorists are advised to stay alert, watch for debris in the roadway, and adhere to special traveling conditions implemented by local authority in their area.  If a flooded roadway is encountered, turn around and seek an alternate route.

I-95 CLOSED IN MULTPLE LOCATIONS DUE TO FLOODING.
I-95 is closed in both directions at the following locations due to flooding. The road will remain closed until further notice. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route and to follow the instructions of local law enforcement.

Exits 25 to 33 (US -301) near St. Pauls in Robeson county
Exit 87 (Keen Road) near Four Oaks in Johnston county
Exit 100 (Pittman Road) near Micro in Johnston county
Exits 116 (NC-42) to Exit 119 (US-264 and I-795) near Wilson in Wilson county

I-40 CLOSED IN MULTIPLE LOCATIONS DUE TO FLOODING

I-40 is closed in both directions at the following locations due to flooding. The road will remain closed until further notice. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route and follow the instructions of local law enforcement.

Exits 355 (NC-403) to 364 (NC-24 Business) near Warsaw in Duplin County
Exits 319 (NC-210) to 325 (NC-242) near Benson in Johnson County

All lanes of I-95 in South Carolina are closed between Exit 68 SC-61 and the Georgia State line. Travelers are advised to stay alert while traveling and seek an alternate route.
