Laurel Fire


A fire broke out in a Laurel workshop early Monday morning. The blaze started around 6:40 a.m. in the 25000 block of Dukes Lumber Road. It took Laurel firefighters, assisted by Blades, Seaford, Georgetown, Delmar and Sharptown crews, about an hour to control. No one was injured in the fire, but it caused $200,000 in damages.
