Local governors ask for exemptions from Offshore Drilling Plan

After Secretary of the Interior Ryan Zinke announced Florida would be given a special exemption from President Donald Trump’s Offshore Drilling Plan, many other states started lining up as well. Delaware Governor John Carney, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, governors of New York, California and other states have all made statements seeking similar exemptions.
