Local man honored as Maryland State Police’s Pilot of the Year

Maryland State Police Aviation Command recognizes a local man as the Pilot of the Year. Jude Gallagher was recognized for outstanding commitment and contributions to the Maryland State Police Aviation Command. He has held the positions of line pilot with the Salisbury Section, command flight operations instructor pilot and maintenance pilot, where he earned a reputation for dependability, selflessness, and continuously going above and beyond the call of duty. Gallagher has been an employee of the Maryland State Police Aviation Command for more than five years, resides with his wife and his two children in Lewes, Delaware.
