MD AG Frosh Joins Hawaii In Anti-Travel Ban Legislation

263

Maryland Attorney General Brian Frosh is officially backing a Hawaiian started lawsuit against President Trump’s travel ban. Frosh joined 13 other AG’s in filing an amicus brief to support Hawaii’s request for a temporary restraining order after the travel ban was put in place. Frosh argues that the ban is still an underlying Muslim ban, as it suspends refugee programs from predominantly Muslim countries. He said this policy makes us less safe and is unconstitutional and un-American.
