A Milford man arrested after stealing checks from his employer, then telling his co-workers about it. On Monday, Police were called to a local restaurant for the report of a theft. An employee there told officers that a co-worker, Jonathan Wright of Milford, said he wouldn’t be returning to work because he would be in trouble for stealing checks. Management then check their books, and found several checks written out to Wright, totaling over $1,500. Police arrested Wright at his residence the next day and charged him with forgery and theft. He was released after posting $4,000 bail.
