A Salisbury man has been arrested in connection with the murder of 67 year old Pierre Louis at his home on Priscilla Street in Salisbury last weekend.  Maryland State Police have charged 18 year old Zamere Purnell with 1st and 2nd degree murder, home invasion and robbery.  Police say Purnell is also charged with multiple counts of burglary and attempted burglary in other cases not related to the murder.  Purnell is being held without bond.   A friend called police after he found Louis unresponsive in his home after he failed to show up for church Saturday morning.  The Medical Examiner says the cause of death was stab wounds.

Purnell was arrested last summer by Salisbury Police for a rash of burglaries in the Doverdale neighborhood
