One member of an organized crime ring in Sussex and Kent Counties will spend a majority of his life behind bars. 20-year-old Rhamir Waples, of Philadelphia, was arrested as part of Operation “In The House” for his part in the 2014 robbery and shooting of two Millsboro men. Waples was found guilty on two counts of first degree murder, two counts of robbery, home invasion and 15 counts of gun possession. Because he was 17 at the time, Waples did not get the automatic life sentence, but will spend 57 years to life in prison.
