Rush
Limbaugh
(weekdays 12-3pm), host of The Rush Limbaugh Show, is probably the most
influential political figure today as talk show hosts go.
He started his radio career in his hometown of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, then
moved to Pittsburgh, but honed his skill as a political commentator in
Sacramento.
An independent-minded
individualist,
Michael Savage (weeknights 7-10), host of The Savage
Nation, fits no stereotype. He attacks big
government and liberal media bias, but champions the environment & animal
rights. He says, "Those who
listen to me say they hear a bit of Plato, Henry Miller, Jack Kerouac, Moses,
Jesus and Frankenstein."
Laura
Ingraham (Weeknights 10-1am), host of The Laura Ingraham Show, has been slugging it out in conservative journalism/politics since her days at Dartmouth College in the mid-'80s, as editor of The Dartmouth Review. She worked as a speechwriter in the final two years of the Reagan Administration, before heading to law school at the University of Virginia.
She clerked for Judge Ralph K. Winter and for US Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas.
George
Noory (Weeknights 1-5am/Weekends 12-5am) is the host of
America's most fascinating overnight radio program -
Coast
to Coast AM. It seems almost fated
that he would takeover this unique role from Art Bell.
Manning
the helm of Coast to Coast AM is a pinnacle for George, allowing him to
pursue the unexplained on a grand scale.
Art Bell,
how many talk hosts have the engineering know-how to produce their own show,
run their own technical board, and generally control the ebb and flow of the
show from the first on- air minute to the last? Following semi-retirement,
Art is now hosting every weekend on Coast.
Jim Bohannon,
host of America in the Morning, (weekdays 5:30-6am) is one of America’s top
radio personalities. He describes himself as a “militant moderate” delivering
his wit, wisdom and natural charm to listeners across the nation. A 35-year
broadcasting veteran, Bohannon began his career in 1960 at his hometown station
in Lebanon, MO. His popular Week in Review can be heard Saturday mornings from
5-5:30.
Tammy Bruce
(Sat 7-10pm), host of
The Tammy Bruce Show, is an openly gay, pro-choice, gun owning,
pro-death penalty, voted-for-Reagan progressive feminist. An important
contributor to Bruce's position on the relevance of free speech comes from
her experience as a radio talk show host in Los Angeles (1993-1998) where
she was the first openly gay woman in the country to host a show on
mainstream talk radio.
Rusty Humphries (Sat 10-12am),
host of Saturday Night America, has
had quite a successful and colorful career. He's been a contestant on The
Wheel Of Fortune, a tour guide at Universal Studios in Hollywood and
was even a candidate for U.S. Senate. Rusty is currently working on
growing his syndicated radio show, a book, a concert tour, a TV show and
considers his passion for children’s and veterans issues to be the most
important aspects of his career.
Bob Brinker (Sat 4-7pm) has more
than twenty five years of investment management experience. He is the host of
the weekend financial talk program MoneyTalk.
If you would like to call the program - (800) 934-2221. Bob answers investment
questions from around the country and discusses current issues on the radio
program.
