New York Man Arrested In Harrington For Credit Card Scam


A New York man was arrested in Harrington Tuesday after police pulled him over for a traffic violation. 20-year-old Byron Benjamin was driving on South DuPont Highway when he was pulled over near Gordon Street. Police searched his car after he gave them consent, and found credit cards belonging to someone else, 5 IPads, gift cards and a credit card scanner. Benjamin was taking the information on the credit cards and putting them on the gift cards. He was charged with possession of a scanning device and driving infractions and is being held at SCI on $2,100 bond.
