Ocean City voters will have 2 elections on November 6th – the General Election and the Ocean City Council election, which takes place in another room at the Convention Center.  The filing deadline was last week.  Three candidates have filed for the mayor’s race – Incumbent Rick Meehan, John Cryer and former city councilman Joe Hall.  For the city council race there are three seats open – and at least one will have a new face since Wayne Hartman is moving up to the State House.  Incumbents Lloyd Martin and Matt James are challenged by Sgt Mark Paddack, who retires from the OCPD at the end of the month, Emily Nock of Nock insurance and Chris Rudolf, who ran for the council in 2014.
