PA Woman Charged with DUI After Crash Near Ocean Downs

Maryland State Police were called for a vehicle crash on Racetrack Road at the Ocean Downs Casino just after 10 Thursday night.  Police found 37 year old Nicole Thomas of Marysville, Pennsylvania was driving a Volkswagon and witnesses told police that she started to spin circles in the roadway, but ended up through a ditch and onto the front lawn of the casino – she ran off on foot.  Thomas was found after an extensive search by multiple police agencies and arrested.  She is charged with DUI, leaving the scene of an accident and other offenses.  Her husband was also in the vehicle.
