Hello Delmarva! I’m Andrew Koch, and I’m the on-the-street reporter for “The Talk of Delmarva.” I’m originally from Portland, Maine. I got into broadcasting by announcing and taping my high school’s football, basketball and baseball games for the school district’s public access TV channel. I graduated from Lyndon State College in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont in 2009 with a B.S. degree in Television Studies. I was reporter, anchor and producer for 2 years at Lyndon’s award-winning TV station, News 7, the local TV news station for the Northeast Kingdom and the North Country of New Hampshire. I was also the sports editor of our student newspaper, The Critic, for 2 and a half years. After graduation, I worked briefly as a reporter at WMDT 47 in Salisbury before coming to WGMD in November 2010. You can find me throughout downstate Delaware and the Lower Shore of Maryland at whatever the big story of the day is. In my free time, I enjoy watching sports. If you have a story that you think I should look into, e-mail me at andrew@wgmd.com.
