The Maryland State Police held a 2-day St. Patrick’s Weekend DUI Saturation Patrol along with the Worcester County Sheriff’s office and other area police agencies. Police say 199 vehicles were stopped and 94 citations were issued along with 125 warnings. Nine people were arrested for DUI, 2 were arrested for possession of heroin and 2 were cited for marijuana possession. Police also investigated two alcohol-related crashes. Police also used the MSP Mobile Breath Testing DUI Truck during this enforcement.
