Rehoboth Beach Municipal Election on Saturday

Rehoboth Beach voters go to the polls on Saturday to elect two City Commissioners.  Current members Patrick Gossett and Jay Lagree are not running for re-election – leaving two open seats – and three candidates.

THE CANDIDATES:
Former commissioner Pat Coluzzi has thrown her hat into the race looking to rejoin the commission.  A downtown resident for 15 years, Coluzzi founded the Rehoboth Beach Farmer’s Market, which is now in its 12th year. Currently she is House Speaker Pete Schwartzkopf’s representative on the Board of Directors of the Delaware Center for the Inland Bays.  Read more about Pat Coluzzi here

Richard Byrne has been a full time resident of Rehoboth Beach since 2009. He has volunteered extensively in Rehoboth Beach as well as in Sussex County and statewide. He’s the Chair of the Animal Issues Committee in Rehoboth and a member of the Mayor’s Advisory Committee on Trees in Rehoboth.  Read more about Richard Byrne here

Gary Glass has been a homeowner in Rehoboth Beach for over 20 years and has a background in Accounting, finance, management and information technology.  Read more about Gary Glass here

The polls are open at Rehoboth Beach City Hall on Saturday from 10am until 6pm.
