Rehoboth Commissioners approve $21 million budget
March 20, 2018
Rehoboth Beach Commissioners unanimously approved a $21 million budget for the upcoming 2018-2019 fiscal year. About $8 million will go to funding the city administration, police department and streets department. The budget is balanced as written, with rental taxes doubling and parking permits increasing parking permit fees. City Manager Sharon Lynn says the price increases will help fund critical projects. She says she plans to improve city efficiency by addressing employee safety, recruitment and development, and succession planning.
