Rehoboth Commissioners to Discuss Parking Monday Morning

Rehoboth City Commissioners will discuss parking changes during a workshop meeting on Monday morning.  Additional discussion on amendments to the parking meter and permit ordinances will be discussed. Changes discussed at the last meeting in December include:  hourly meters in effect from 10am to 10pm, additional signage directing to additional parking areas, meter rates of $3 per hour with a 3-hour limit in select areas, keeping the current meter season and ticket fine amounts.

Also on the agenda under new business discussion on the possibility of a parking garage and the city’s Special Events code.  The workshop meeting begins at 9am on Monday at City Hall.
