Salisbury Walk/Run Raises Money For Alzheimers

Many in Salisbury braved the day after St. Patrick’s Day woes to race for a good cause. Over 200 participants showed up the Elk Lodge to raise money to help maintaining active citizens, or MAC Incorporated, battle Alzheimer’s with a 5K run and two mile walk. Each contestant gave at least $20 to MAC to help keep the town’s elderly population active. Race officials are saying that a record may have been broken this year with the number of runners in the race.
