Senator Carper In Georgetown Most Of Today


Senator Tom Carper will be a busy man this St. Patrick’s Day, as he’ll be making stops in Kent and Sussex Counties today First, Carper will be in Georgetown to attend the CHEER Center’s March for Meals at 11:45 a.m. When he leaves there at 1 p.m., he’ll stay in Georgetown, but head to the La Red Health Center to have a roundtable discussion with board members and staff to talk about the repeal and replacement of the Affordable Care Act, and how it would affect the health center. At 2:45, Carper will stick around Georgetown and go to the Small Business Administration’s Minority-Owned Business of the Year for Delaware, Little Einstein Preschool. Finally, he head to Dover to attend the Education Association’s Celebration of Leadership Dinner at Dover Downs at 5:45.
