A Smyrna man has been charged after leading Delaware State Police on a chase while driving under the influence of drugs Thursday night.  Police spotted a Ford Ranger on Cannon Road near Millsboro just after 7pm with no brake lights.  Police tried to stop the vehicle which turned onto Route 24 westbound and then speeding down Layton Davis Road and throwing items out the window.  The driver, 41 year old Wayne Revel of Smyrna stopped in the area of Indian Mission Road and Route 24 and ran off on foot, but was arrested.  Police collected drug paraphernalia that Revel tossed out of the Ranger and found he had active warrants as well.  He is charged with DUI, tampering with physical evidence, resisting arrest and multiple traffic offenses.
