St. Patrick’s Day DUI Crackdown

If you’re going to be celebrating St. Patrick’s Day tomorrow with some drinks, make sure you do so safely. The Maryland State Police in Berlin are setting up a two day DUI saturation initiative starting early Friday afternoon and running until the early part of Sunday morning. The State Police Mobile Breath Truck will be out checking for drunk drivers. The truck has two breathalyzers and a holding cell if you get busted. If you plan to drink, do so responsibly or plan ahead and assign a designated driver.
