Sussex County is rolling out a new phone app that may save lives. The PulsePoint Respond app is designed to let CPR certified smartphone users know when there is a cardiac arrest in their area. This will allow for you to start CPR before the ambulance gets there, possibly saving precious time. Right now, the only works for cardiac events in a public place. The GPS-enabled app is free and open to the public, and can be found in the iTunes or Google Play stores.
