Trinidad Navarro Denies Rate Increase

Delaware Insurance Commissioner Trinidad Navarro had residents in mind when he denied an increase in insurance rates. The request came from Windsor-Mount Joy Mutual and would have changed more than 2,000 policies by 20-30%. Many of these people already will see an added cost from WNMJ starting tomorrow. Navarro called this new request excessive and unreasonable. He added it would unfairly impact homeowners in one area of Eastern Sussex County.
