Two Girls Who Burned Trump Sign Have Hate Crime Charges Dropped

After being arrested earlier this week for burning a political sign, two Maryland women have had their hate crime charges dropped. Earlier this week, 19-year-olds Joy Shuford, of Ownings Mills, and Dasia Perry, of Baltimore, tried to light a Donald Trump political sign in Princess Anne on fire. Second degree arson and race/religion hate crimes were dismissed in Somerset County District Court. The remaining charges, including malicious burning and destruction of property, remain active.
