US Congress confirms Eastern Shore native to cabinet level position

Eastern Shore native Alex Azar II is a confirmed as a member of President Donald Trump’s cabinet. Yesterday the US Senate confirmed Azar as Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services by a vote of 55-43. Azar is from Salisbury, worked in the HHS during the presidency of George Bush, and was most recently the VP of pharmaceutical giant Eli Lilly.
