Friday was fishable, but not many boats went out due to a lack of customers.  A gale warning has been posted for Saturday and Sunday.

Tommy at Lewes Harbour Marina said the Tranquila with Captain Charlie Helmer brought in a limit of dolphin last Sunday.  The only other report he had was from the Katydid.  They caught 42 flounder and 100 sea bass on Friday.

At Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em Burt said the head boat brought in some flounder and sea bass.  A private boat had a big bluefin tuna.  One jetty jockey caught a 27-inch trout on a plug and lost another one at the rocks.  He also reported that some bigger rockfish moved into the inlet around 3:00 AM.

Old Inlet said one of their customers reported catching several pompano right out front along with plenty of blues.  Blues were also taken from the inlet along with small tog and the occasional keeper.  Sand fleas and green crabs have worked on the tog.

The Gale Force had a group from the Delaware Saltwater Fly Rodders out on Thursday for a big catch of blues.
