Wednesday saw small craft advisories flying again, but a couple of boats did give it a go.

Bill at Lewes Harbour Marina said the Grizzly with Captain Cary Evans had six anglers entered in the Tog Tournament out looking for a winner, but no one caught a fish large enough to make the board.  The final results put Joe McNeil in first place with his 5.56-pound tog.  Second place went to Chris Ragni and his 5.37 pounder while Joe McNeil also took third place with a 4.95-pound tog.  All entry fees will go back to the winners with first place getting 50%, second gets 30% and third comes in at 20%.

At Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em, Chris said the Captain Ike fished the Del-Jersey-Land and came back with a good catch of sea bass.

At Old Inlet Bait and Tackle the report was a good run of small rockfish at the Inlet during incoming water.  Bucktails and shads were two productive baits.  Anglers fishing the beach in Rehoboth caught blues to 20 inches on fresh mullet.
