WGMD Fishing Report 10-8-18

Monday saw fair weather conditions and I think Tuesday will be fishable as well. 

The winners of the Delaware Mobile Surf Fishing Tournament are:  First place Mike Walker with 103 points, second was Sean Hull with 73 points and third was Bob Zak with 73 points.  Tie broken by the longest fish.  First place in the Ladies Division was Allison Stuart with 44 points, second Lillian Rhoat with 29 points and third was Donna Gutheridge with 29 points.  The Largest Bluefish Calcutta was worth $1,930 and was won by Robert Thompson.  The largest fish other than a blue was a 16.75-inch flounder caught by Ann Marie Stuart and was worth $750.  No scoring fish in the Kid’s Division, but each entrant won a rod and reel combo from Rick’s Tackle.

At Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em Burt said the head boats had three cobia over the weekend.  They also caught a mixed bag of sheepshead, black drum, blues and porgies.
